General Information

The 6th KEK Topical Conference - Frontiers in Particle Physics and Cosmology - is held at KEK in Tsukuba, Japan, February 06-08, 2007. The KEK Topical Conference is a series of conferences held at KEK every few years.

Since the last Topical Conference on Frontiers in Flavor Physics was held in 2001, KEK has taken significant roles, through in particular the achievements in the Belle and K2K experiments, in understanding the flavor structure of the standard model. KEK is currently constructing the new neutrino and kaon facility, named J-PARC, in the Tokai area of Japan. KEKB has accumulated a record high luminosity and further upgrades, called SuperKEKB, is being discussed. KEK also takes important roles in LHC and in the development of International Linear collider.

In this conference, we cover wide aspects of particle physics including flavor physics, high energy frontier and new developments in cosmology. All of the topics are discussed in this conference by distinguished experimentalists and theorists invited from around the world.

We hope that the conference will further stimulate worldwide activities in particle physics and cosmology and develop new frontiers in these fields.

Scientific Program

The conference covers the following topics.

The conference comprises invited talks in the three-day plenary session and contributed papers, which are presented in a poster session.
